In early July, close to 30 international students aged 15 to 19 will travel to Fort Worth in order to study and perform with Kids Who Care, the non-profit international musical theatre company based in Fort Worth’s Cultural District. Among the students, one-third of them are expected to be return students from Albania, Scotland, Italy and Finland.

Onstage in Bedford is is holding auditions for Neil Simon’s God’s Favorite on Monday, June 30th and Tuesday, July 1st at the Trinity Arts Theater. Performances will take place August 15th through August 30th at Onstage in Bedford. Scripts are available at the Bedford City Library at 1805 L. Don Dodson Drive.

Contemporary Dance Fort Worth invites advanced and professional dancers from throughout the North Texas area to participate in a special presentation of Twyla Tharp’s “The One Hundreds” during the organization’s 5th annual Modern Dance Festival at The Modern Art Museum. Open auditions will be held on June 22 & 24; the performance will take place on July 26.

The Kimbell Art Museum will hold a symposium on Saturday, June 28, in conjunction with the exhibition The Impressionists: Master Paintings from the Art Institute of Chicago (June 29–November 2, 2008). The symposium will bring together a panel of scholars engaged in research on artists and themes represented in the exhibition.
